The F-2200 Mat Cutter is made with a strong and straight anodised aluminium base that prevents warping and helps deliver many years of uninterrupted operation. Equally important, this newly improved tabletop mat cutter helps to eliminate human error through its unique 'pin locator system', making it incredibly easy to set accurate borders and multiple mat exposures.
Ball bearings glide the head along the hardened aluminium bar clamp for greater cutting ease. With two large Delrin bushings, the head fits snugly to the chrome plated steel shaft, eliminating head movement and hooked cuts, easy-to-use squaring blocks allow you to adjust the mat guide parallel to the clamp.
FEATURES:

NEW IMPROVEMENTS:
- Wider pin hole placement now up to 8” (203mm) wide for faster repeat cutting.
- Deeper cuts – the F-2200 can cut nominal foamboard up to 1/2” (12.7mm) thick.
- Straight side cutting magazine (patent pending); it is now easier to load and replace your blades – blades adhere magnetically.
- Straight line gauge (patent pending) – makes it easier to cut your stop and start marks without using the optional measuring stops.

ERGONOMIC DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS:
- New textured oval mat clamp handle.
- New bevel and straight side comfort grips with textured soft rubber coating.
- New improved scales – now in yellow for increased visibility and accuracy.
- New control knobs for a more secure and comfortable grip.
